What the sesquiquadrate means

An aspect is the angle between two planets — how they talk to each other. At 135°, the sesquiquadrate is the aspect of internal pressure that wants somewhere to go. In a chart it's associated with build-up, recurrence, looking for an outlet.

We call this one Activation, after what the angle does rather than how it is supposed to feel. Elsewhere you will see the sesquiquadrate called a “minor challenging” aspect. Same geometry — it is worth knowing both words, but the older one rates the experience before you have looked at anything.
