Most Human Design tools hand you a full bodygraph reading and stop. It is thorough, it is long, and it is why people read it once and never open it again. This page is the other half: only today.

It opens with the one thing that is the same every day — your strategy, in plain words, before any vocabulary. If you have never heard the word Sacral, the first sentence still works. The terms are all there and all tappable; they are simply not the price of entry.

Then the part that is actually different today: which transiting gates complete a channel you already hold half of. Human Design ignores aspects, houses and signs — it asks only which gate a body occupies and whether that finishes something in you. Most days it finishes nothing, and this page says so plainly rather than padding the day out with the thirteen gates the sky lights in everybody.

Finally one experiment, chosen for your authority rather than a generic prompt — a Splenic reading gets a different question from an Emotional one, because the two decide in different ways.

Two charts are cast for you rather than one: the personality chart for your birth moment, and the design chart for the moment the Sun stood 88 degrees of arc earlier — found by solving for that solar longitude rather than by subtracting a fixed 88 days, because the Sun's apparent speed varies through the year and the fixed-day shortcut drifts by up to a day and a half. Thirteen bodies on each side are converted to gates on the 64-gate wheel, and the pairs that complete a channel give your type, authority and definition. Today's sky is then cast the same way and asked one question: for each of the 36 channels you do NOT already hold outright, does a transiting body occupy the gate you are missing? Only those completions are reported. The channels the sky completes on its own — both gates transiting, neither of them yours — are counted separately and never presented as yours, because they are happening to everybody today and say nothing about you. ⚠️ Human Design uses the TRUE lunar node without exception, and Umbriel's settings let a reader switch the whole app to the mean node for the astrology; this page forces true and restores the previous setting afterwards, in a finally block, so a throw mid-computation cannot leave every later chart in the wrong mode. The daily experiment is selected by your authority and seeded on the date rather than at random, so it holds still for the day instead of changing while you read it.
