Umbriel's Your Record reads your own journal and daily check-ins back to you, laid against the sky. It shows the entries you wrote while the slow planets crossed your chart, your mood and energy by Moon phase and sign, and the theories you have tagged, each counted against your own base rate with the odds stated. It never claims the sky caused anything, and it always prints how many entries a result rests on.

What it is
Plenty of people suspect the Full Moon makes them restless, or that a certain transit always brings a certain kind of week. Your Record lets you check, on your own life, using the journal and check-ins you have already kept in Umbriel. Nothing new is asked for.
The year against the sky. Your entries are laid along the times the slow planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, came within 3° of a point in your birth chart, with your own words quoted beside each passage. It opens once there are 8 entries to lay out, and a passage is only named when at least 4 entries fall in it.
Your Moon, measured. Your mood and energy from the daily check-in, grouped by the Moon's phase and sign on the day. The results are drawn as distributions, not averages, so a difference that rests on two bad days looks like two bad days. It needs 12 mood readings to begin and 4 in a group before that group is drawn.
Your theories, counted. Tag entries with a theory of your own and the page counts the times it held and the times it did not, against your own base rate, with the odds of a count that size arising by chance written in words. A theory needs 6 tagged entries before it is counted.
Then the people in your library and the year ahead of them, birthdays and planetary returns, and what you have learned in the course. A note at the end says exactly how everything was counted.
The rules the page keeps: it never says the sky caused anything; every result prints how many entries it rests on; every comparison has a base rate; and there are no streaks. Everything is read on your device and nothing new is collected or sent.
How Umbriel computes it
Nothing new is collected: the record reads the journal entries, daily check-ins, chart library and course progress already saved on your device. For the year against the sky, each entry is placed against the times Jupiter, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto were within 3° of an aspect to a point in your natal chart. For the Moon, each check-in's mood and energy are filed under the Moon's phase and sign at that day, and each group is drawn as the spread of its values with its count printed beside it, never as a single average. For a theory, the entries you tagged with it are counted as for or against, and the same count is taken across all your entries to give your own base rate; the chance of a result at least that lopsided, if the theory made no difference, comes from the binomial tail and is written in words. The thresholds are fixed and printed: 8 entries before the sky section opens, 4 to name a passage, 12 mood readings for the Moon section and 4 in any group before it is drawn, and 6 tagged entries before a theory is counted. No result is ever phrased as the sky causing anything.

Common questions
Does the Moon affect mood?
Studies of large groups have not settled it, and one person's journal cannot settle it either. What Your Record can do is show how your own mood readings fall across the Moon's phases and signs, with the number of readings behind each, so you can see whether your own sense of it holds up.
Does it say the Full Moon caused my mood?
Never. It shows what your entries recorded and how often, beside what chance would give. It does not claim a cause.
How many entries do I need?
The year against the sky opens at 8 entries. The Moon section needs 12 mood readings, and a theory needs 6 tagged entries. Until then, the page says what it is waiting for.
What is a base rate?
How often something shows up in your entries overall. A theory only looks meaningful if it shows up more often under its sky than it does anyway, so every count is set against that rate.
Do I need an account?
No. The record reads what is already saved on your device. The written reading is part of Membership, and the first 7 days of that are free.
Is my journal sent anywhere?
No. The record is read on your device, and nothing new is collected.
