What it is

Venus does not reverse. It is an apparent motion: the Earth overtakes it on the track, and for about six weeks Venus appears to slide backwards against the stars. It happens about every eighteen months, which is why it feels like an event. Astrologically it is the time love, money and what you value come back for a second look: an ex might text, an old crush might cross your mind, a bank statement might raise an eyebrow. You do not have to act on any of it. It is a good time to finish, repair and reconsider, and a poor time to sign for something you cannot undo. What is useful to know is the house it falls in for you, which is the part a calendar cannot tell you. In Scorpio it goes for the true version rather than the polite one, which is uncomfortable and usually worth it.

Where it falls in your chart

This is the part a calendar cannot tell you. 8°29′ Scorpio is a fixed point in the sky; which house of your chart it lands in, and which of your own placements it touches, depends on your birth date, time and place. Umbriel works that out in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
