♀ Free Venus Compatibility Calculator

Umbriel's free Venus compatibility calculator compares two charts on the attraction axis — Venus to Venus, Venus to Mars, and where each falls in the other's houses, with exact orbs. No account, no email. It reads the real positions rather than sign pairs, because a contact at one degree and one at nine are not the same thing.

What Venus compatibility actually is

Venus is traditionally read for what draws you and how you express warmth; Mars for how you pursue it. Between two charts, the contacts these two make are the ones most often read for attraction — Venus to Venus for shared taste and values, Venus to Mars for the pull between them.

There is a piece of arithmetic worth knowing before you start. Venus is never more than 48° from the Sun, so two people born within a few weeks of each other will have Venuses close together almost automatically — a Venus conjunction between near-contemporaries is often a fact about your birthdays rather than about the two of you. Tight Venus contacts between people born at different times of year are the more telling ones.

⚠️ And Venus is only one axis. Attraction is not the same question as living together, which is a Moon conversation, and neither is the same as whether two lives fit, which is most of the rest of the chart. A Venus reading is genuinely useful for what it covers and genuinely partial. Umbriel gives the contacts with their orbs and does not turn them into a score, because a percentage on this axis would imply a completeness it does not have.

Common questions

What is Venus compatibility?

Comparing Venus in two birth charts, usually together with Mars — the contacts between them and where each falls in the other's chart. Venus is traditionally read for taste and affection, Mars for pursuit, so the pair is the usual attraction reading.

Is Venus or Moon compatibility more important?

They answer different questions. Venus describes attraction and shared taste; the Moon describes emotional needs and daily rhythm. Relationships that are easy to start and hard to live in tend to be strong on one and thin on the other.

Why do people born around the same time always have close Venuses?

Because Venus is never more than 48° from the Sun. Two people with birthdays a few weeks apart will usually have Venuses near each other whatever else is true, so that contact is often a fact about the calendar rather than about the pair.

Do we need birth times for Venus compatibility?

For the Venus and Mars signs and the aspects between them, usually not — Venus and Mars move slowly enough that dates settle it. For the house overlays, yes, both birth times are needed.

Is the Venus compatibility calculator free?

Yes — both Venuses, both Mars, every contact with orbs and the overlays, with no account and no email.
