What Aries brings to your Mercury
Aries is a Fire, Cardinal sign ruled by Mars. Fire is instinctive, expressive and quick to act. By mode it initiates. It likes to begin things and set them in motion. So your Mercury, how you think, learn and communicate, takes on that colour: the initiator: fast, brave and hungry to begin. Aries meets life head-on, trusting instinct over deliberation.
The sign itself, its dates, element and ruler, has a page of its own: Aries.
Strengths & the growing edge
At its best, this placement is bold, pioneering and direct. That is where your Mercury shines most naturally. Its growing edge is the impulsive side. That is not a flaw. It is the place that asks for a little awareness, so the gift does not tip into strain.
A question to sit with
Where in your life does your Mercury most want to be bold, and where might its impulsive streak be asking you for a little more gentleness?
