Taurus Sun, Libra Moon: Two Kinds of Beautiful

You spent six weeks choosing a paint colour. You were right. You would do it again.

Venus rules both of your lights, which only a Taurus or a Libra can say, and you get to say it twice. She works differently in each, though. In Taurus she is a body in a warm room; in Libra she is a room in which nobody is uncomfortable. One is texture and the other is atmosphere. Five signs apart, sharing a ruler and nothing else at all, is a strange and very specific way to be built.

The same five signs decide what the Moon looked like: a waxing gibbous, three-quarters lit or better, and gaining. Most of the way there, which is about as much of the deciding as you ever let anyone see.

The small cost is the decision itself. Your Sun knows exactly what it wants and your Moon needs everybody else to be pleased about it, so a simple preference becomes a committee.

What you cannot see: nobody else is holding the standard you are holding. They think the room turned out nicely. You know what it cost, and they have no idea there was a cost.
