Every row is an instant, not a day. Each aspect and ingress is solved for the exact moment the Moon reaches the angle, and reported to the minute in your device's clock. The Moon moves about half a degree an hour, so a table rounded to the day would be wrong about most of what it listed.

You choose which bodies count: the traditional seven, the modern ten with Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, or those plus Chiron. Minor aspects (semi-sextile, semi-square, sesquiquadrate, quincunx) are off by default and one tap away. A month with the modern ten and minors on runs to well over a hundred rows, which is the honest size of a Moon's month.

A Full Moon is the Moon opposing the Sun, and a New Moon is the conjunction, so a naive table prints each lunation twice. Here the lunation absorbs its own Sun aspect and is printed once, in bold, as what it is.

If you have entered your birth details, the last New or Full Moon before your birth, the prenatal syzygy, is marked when it falls in the month you are viewing, with a note about how close the next lunation came to your birth time. That margin matters: a birth a few minutes either side of a lunation changes which syzygy is yours, and with it the Releaser and the Lots that depend on it.

The times are in the clock of the device you are reading on, not in the time zone of any place. For choosing a day where you are, that is what you want; for an event elsewhere, convert.

Three root-finds over the calendar month, and then one merge. Each quantity — the Moon's angular distance from a body's aspect angle, its distance from a sign boundary, its elongation from the Sun — is stepped across the month, watched for a change of sign, and the bracket bisected forty times, which lands the instant well inside a second, finer than any of this is meaningful to. EVERY SCAN CARRIES A WRAP GUARD. The difference between two longitudes jumps 360° at the seam, and a scan that reads that jump as a crossing invents dates out of arithmetic; the same finder without one once turned 37 New Moons into 74. A change of sign only counts when the step it happened in is smaller than the quantity could genuinely move in that step, so the seam is skipped and the real crossing is not. AND A FULL MOON *IS* THE MOON OPPOSING THE SUN. The aspect search and the lunation search both find that instant, and the raw list printed it twice on consecutive lines — "☽ ☍ Sun" and "Full Moon", identical times, identical degrees. The lunation absorbs the aspect, matched within two minutes rather than on equality, because two separate root-finds converge a few seconds apart. There is no list of which angles to absorb: the first version absorbed 0° and 180° and the quarter Moons came straight back through, since a Last Quarter IS the Moon square the Sun and, with the minor angles on, the eighth-phases are its octiles. The rule needs no list — if a lunation is happening at that instant, the Moon–Sun aspect at that instant is that lunation, whatever its angle. The table shows the traditional bodies and the five Ptolemaic aspects by default, with the modern ten, Chiron and the minor angles one tap away; the choice is stated rather than silently made. The prenatal syzygy is marked when a saved chart makes it meaningful, and simply left out when there is none.
