What the quincunx means

An aspect is the angle between two planets — how they talk to each other. At 150°, the quincunx is the aspect of two things that only ever operate in sequence, never at once. In a chart it's associated with adjustment, no common ground, working in turn, fine-tuning.

We call this one Adjustment, after what the angle does rather than how it is supposed to feel. Elsewhere you will see the quincunx called a “minor” or “inconjunct” aspect. Same geometry — it is worth knowing both words, but the older one rates the experience before you have looked at anything.
