What the semisquare means

An aspect is the angle between two planets — how they talk to each other. At 45°, the semisquare is the aspect of small pressures that accumulate. In a chart it's associated with low pressure, recurrence, a prod.

We call this one Activation, after what the angle does rather than how it is supposed to feel. Elsewhere you will see the semisquare called a “minor challenging” aspect. Same geometry — it is worth knowing both words, but the older one rates the experience before you have looked at anything.
