What the semisextile means

An aspect is the angle between two planets — how they talk to each other. At 30°, the semisextile is the aspect of the low, steady contact between neighbouring signs. In a chart it's associated with adjacency, a small nudge, quiet development.

We call this one Nudge, after what the angle does rather than how it is supposed to feel. Elsewhere you will see the semisextile called a “minor” aspect. Same geometry — it is worth knowing both words, but the older one rates the experience before you have looked at anything.
