What a Projector actually is

The description is of someone who reads other people unusually well and does not carry a steady supply of their own fuel. Taking a room in deeply, seeing how it is put together, tiring sooner than the people in it — and doing best where that seeing has been asked for rather than offered.

Where that comes from: the label is applied when no motor centre reaches the Throat and the Sacral is undefined.

The strategy attached to it — waiting for the invitation — is the single most misunderstood idea in the system, and it is worth stating precisely. It applies to the large things: work, a relationship, a place to live. It is not a rule about ordinary life, and it is not an instruction to be passive about your own.

The predicted failure state is bitterness, and the mechanism given is specific: a Projector who pushes into something uninvited is said to meet resistance, and to read that resistance as being unwanted rather than as being early. Whether that describes your experience is something only you can check — but it is a precise enough claim to check.

What people get wrong about it

• "I have to wait around for permission."The invitation is about the big commitments, not about daily life. You can make things, say things and go places freely; the system's claim is only about where recognition needs to already exist.
• "Projectors can't work full-time."The description is of energy that is not designed to be sustained the way a Generator's is. What follows from that is practical and personal, not a rule about hours.
• "Undefined Sacral means low energy."The system says inconsistent rather than low — capable of intense bursts, less able to rely on them arriving on schedule.

How to test it, rather than believe it

The system offers a pair of feelings as its signal: success when you are working the way it describes, and bitterness when you are not. That pair is the part you can actually check.
